Overview

Celer Network is a blockchain interoperability protocol designed to provide seamless, one-click access to tokens, DeFi, NFTs, GameFi, governance, and other functionalities across multiple chains, while enabling developers to build inter-chain-native dApps with efficient liquidity usage, unified application logic, and shared states. Through its core infrastructure, the Celer Inter-chain Messaging (IM) framework, applications can interact across different chains without deploying isolated contract versions, significantly improving consistency and capital efficiency in multi-chain environments. Celer supports a unified user experience by allowing cross-chain actions to be executed in a single transaction from any connected chain. Its ecosystem is built on top of the State Guardian Network (SGN), a Tendermint-based Proof-of-Stake blockchain responsible for routing cross-chain messages and securing all interoperability-related operations. Complementing the IM framework, Celer offers products such as cBridge, a fast and decentralized cross-chain asset bridge used by more than half a million users, and Celer Intent, an omnichain liquidity protocol leveraging just-in-time liquidity and a cross-chain RFQ system to eliminate slippage in large trades. Layer2.finance, built on Optimistic Rollups, expands the ecosystem with low-cost and high-performance access to DeFi. Together, these components create a unified multi-blockchain environment where developers and users experience efficient, secure, and coherent cross-chain interactions powered by CELR-staked economic security within the SGN.
