Overview

Tharwa is a pioneering protocol that introduces the first AI-driven, RWA-collateralized stablecoin backed by a diversified multi-asset hedge fund. Its ecosystem bridges traditional finance and decentralized finance (DeFi) by tokenizing real-world assets (RWAs) such as sukuk, UAE-based real estate, gold, oil (capped), private credit, and treasury bills into on-chain, yield-bearing portfolios. Tharwa's central innovation lies in its AI-based Confluence Engine, which employs quantitative optimization and CVaR-based models to rebalance portfolios dynamically and autonomously, ensuring efficient risk-adjusted returns with minimized volatility. The ecosystem revolves around thUSD, a multi-chain stablecoin fully backed by tokenized RWAs, maintaining a 1:1 peg with the U.S. dollar and supported by transparent, smart contract-controlled vaults. Tharwa integrates institutional-grade portfolio management through DeFi composability, allowing users to earn passive yields from faith-aligned and diversified real-world assets. It also introduces sthUSD as a yield-bearing version of thUSD, Tharwa Bonds for fixed-term investments, and an OTC Marketplace for direct peer-to-peer trades. Additionally, Tharwa embeds Shariah-aligned principles in its architecture, designing lending and investment modules that avoid riba (interest), leverage, and ambiguity.
