The Ordinals Wallet (ORDI) is a digital wallet designed to manage unique digital assets on the Bitcoin blockchain, known as Bitcoin Ordinals. These Ordinals are created by inscribing metadata on individual satoshis through the Ordinals protocol, based on Ordinal Theory developed by Casey Rodarmor. This theory assigns ordinal numbers to satoshis, allowing them to be tracked and identified. The protocol enables the inscription of various data types, such as text, images, and videos, turning them into non-fungible tokens native to Bitcoin. These inscriptions, or digital artifacts, are decentralized, immutable, and unrestricted, setting them apart from traditional NFTs that often rely on centralized off-chain storage. Since its launch in January 2023, the Ordinals market has rapidly expanded, with over 69 million inscriptions including digital artifacts and BRC-20 tokens.
