Traceix, operated under the Perkins Cybersecurity Educational Fund (a registered nonprofit organization), is a decentralized, privacy-first platform designed to provide transparent file analysis and AI-driven classification through blockchain technology. It allows users to search files by their hash (SHA-256) to access AI-generated classifications, extracted capabilities, and EXIF metadata while maintaining complete privacy. The platform integrates THRT (Threat Research & History Trail), a Solana-based utility token that powers decentralized access to encrypted AI/ML training datasets and enables immutable on-chain publication of decrypted data. Users can decrypt datasets for free, but THRT is required when publishing datasets on-chain to create an auditable and traceable record. The system is designed to democratize cybersecurity and AI research by offering decentralized access to file classification, training datasets, and research tools under a nonprofit framework. Through blockchain integration, Traceix ensures transparency, immutability, and auditability of data, empowering students, educators, and cybersecurity researchers with affordable and sustainable access to AI/ML datasets. By holding THRT tokens, users can perform classification lookups, access encrypted datasets via API, and unlock higher platform privileges and research tools, all while contributing to an open, decentralized research ecosystem that prioritizes education, privacy, and transparency.
