Overview

Posemesh is a decentralized spatial computing protocol that enables domain owners to manage and provide their own maps for visiting devices, ensuring greater privacy, control, and efficiency in digital space representation. Unlike traditional cloud-based VPS solutions, Posemesh operates as a self-hosted service, allowing domain owners to maintain localized digital replicas of their environments. This approach transforms Posemesh into a protocol for navigating between independently owned maps rather than relying on a single centralized system. The ecosystem is supported by a Domain Manager, which acts as the central hub for coordinating spatial data and interactions. The Posemesh Relay service utilizes a decentralized network of servers and microcomputers to optimize data transmission, leveraging spare computational power and bandwidth from participating devices. This infrastructure enables lower latency, hyperlocal networking, and seamless integration of unexposed participants while offering rewards for Relay service operators. Additionally, the Reconstruction service plays a crucial role in refining domain data, providing enhanced 3D representations through AI-driven analysis, point cloud densification, and Gaussian Splat rendering. To maintain network integrity, participants must stake AUKI tokens, which serve as a reputation mechanism subject to slashing if quality standards are not met. Posemesh fosters a self-sustaining ecosystem through performance-based and participation rewards, ensuring continuous support for spatial computing applications across various industries, including navigation, retail, augmented reality (AR), and gaming.
