Im confused, why GT token grey but BGB shariah verified? As what I see is, both token almost the same, and the reason GT was in grey because the profit from leverage and non halal token make it as uncertainty in syariah ruling, but, aren't BGB is the same? Bitget also have non halal token and also can trade leverage, then why BGB passed this screening? I Really need explanation please @Sharlife
Assalamualaikum Brother, I am from Sharlife team. GT has not been rescreened yet for 2025. InshaAllah will be updated, and the status of the GT token may change to Shariah due to the token itself acting as an exchange token, which is based on the Sharlife's Shariah meeting. exchange tokens is deemed as Shariah, and the Shariah rulings will depend on how the user uses it. However, it is possible that it is deemed as non Shariah if the GT exchange only offers Shariah non-compliant features. If it is a mixed instrument (Shariah and non-Shariah) being offered, it will be deemed Shariah compliant, and the rulings will depend on how the token is being used. Wallahua'lam
Thank you for the response, really appreciated it! So, can I assume MX and BNB Shariah compliance, since both offering mixed instrument (Shariah and non-Shariah)?
You may assume the same for BNB, as it was previously considered in a grey area before the Shariah meeting due to its mixed offerings. However, MX has not been screened yet. Wallahu a'lam.
