China Resources Power Holdings Limited (the “Company” or “China Resources Power”) mainly invests in, develops, operates and manages wind farms, photovoltaic power plants, hydropower plants and other clean and renewable energy projects and coal-fired power plants in China. The business also involves distributed energy, electricity sales, smart energy, and coal. As of December 31, 2022, China Resources Electric Power operated 42 coal-fired power plants, 159 wind farms, 38 photovoltaic power plants, 2 hydropower plants and 5 gas power plants. The company's total operating equity installed capacity is 52,581 megawatts, of which 28.7% is located in central China, 26.9% in East China, 15.5% in South China, 14.7% in North China, 5.8% in Northwest China, 5.0% in Northeast China, and 3.4% in Southwest China. The total installed capacity of wind power, hydropower and photovoltaic power generation operating equity is 17,004 megawatts, accounting for about 32.3% of the total operating equity installed capacity. Since September 7, 2020, China Resources Power has been selected as a constituent stock of the Hang Seng ESG50 Index and the Hang Seng Sustainable Business Benchmark Index for three consecutive years.
